      Mobility Matters – Taras Grescoe

      Skytrain1HDAn interview with Taras Grescoe, public transit advocate and the author of Straphanger. This was done as a co-production with The Literary Review of Canada and The Spur Festival in May of 2014.

      It touches on the need for urgent and smart transit planning for the ever-swelling metropolis. Taras is a passionate advocate for the reduction of auto use in urban environments and argues for the civilizing effect that good public transit options have on cities.

      Of course there are so many other issues intertwined with this subject such as poverty, class mobility, farmland and greenspace preservation (as well as many others) and we look forward to being able to offer more videos that address those subjects in future.
